Eiju Jinkoh Aloeswood Incense by Nippon Kodo. This special incense is made from jinkoh, a superior grade of aloeswood. Its name translates as meaning sinking wood, as this grade of aloeswood doesnt float like other woods do. The incense has a distinctive scent, with base notes of aloeswood, and also notes of sandalwood and patchouli. The result is an incense with an almost mystical quality. The slightly spicy patchouli blends well with the calming sandalwood and adds a new dimension to the aloeswood. This large pack ensures you can experience a premium fragrance, everyday. The Eiju range of incense from Nippon Kodo symbolises long life. This traditional Japanese incense is a low smoke, solid stick made without a bamboo core and infused with essential oils for a pure, clean fragrance and a soothing experience.
Directions: To light Japanese incense, simply ignite the tip, let it flame briefly, then extinguish the flame so it can smoulder. Unlike Indian incense, Japanese sticks do not have a bamboo core, so there is no specific end to light. The gentle, low-smoke burn is an integral part of enjoying the fragrance. Insert the unlit end of the incense into the incense holder.
Made in Japan.
